The four Gospels reveal Christ from four sides: King, Servant, Man, God. Acts adds the fifth ink — the Spirit, by whom the risen Christ continues His work. No single form gives the whole image; it appears only where all five register exactly.
Colossians 1:15 · John 20:31But the printing does not end on the sheet. The same image has to come through in a person. Paul travails “until Christ is formed in you,” and calls believers a letter of Christ — written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, on tablets of human hearts.
Galatians 4:19 · 2 Corinthians 3:3It does not take ink on the first pass: a heart of stone has to be replaced with a heart of flesh. So many passes are needed — and the Lord uses them to form Christ in us step by step: “beholding the glory of the Lord, we are transformed into the same image from glory to glory.”
Ezekiel 36:26 · 2 Corinthians 3:18An ink can be missing. There can be too much of it. The forms can all be present yet out of register. And something of our own can be printed over the finished image. Each of these spoils the image in its own way — and each can be seen with the eyes, not only described in words.
The difference between traditions is usually not that someone has another Christ, but which ink left, which one flooded the rest, and what was laid on top. The same question is worth asking of one's own heart: what impression comes off it.
We take the same source image and actually separate it into printing components. No plate is the whole picture by itself. The full-colour image appears only when the plates are printed together at the right density and in exact registration.
C, M, Y and K are an actual CMYK separation of the source image. GOLD is intentionally shown as a fifth spot/Pantone plate: a theological metaphor for Acts and the work of the Holy Spirit, not a standard CMYK channel.
The four Gospels are not four copies from one camera. Each evangelist selects, arranges and emphasises so as to reveal a particular dimension of the same Jesus. Differences in detail, wording and order are different angles on one testimony, not a dispute between witnesses.
The cyan form does not carry everything the black form carries, and the reverse. Their job is not to duplicate each other but to register exactly. Matthew reveals the King, Mark the Servant, Luke the Man, John God; together they do not diminish but deepen one image of Christ.
John says the written witness leads to faith (John 20:31). Paul travails until Christ is formed in us (Galatians 4:19) and calls believers a letter of Christ, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God — on tablets of human hearts (2 Corinthians 3:3). The press is not only about a book: it is about how the image of Christ comes through in a person.
Not five different gospels, but five layers of one picture: King, Servant, Man, God — and the Holy Spirit making the witness to Christ living in the Church.
The King without the Servant can turn authority into domination. The Servant without the King loses authority. Man without God leaves only an example. God without Man becomes a distant idea. Without the Holy Spirit’s present work, faith risks becoming only a system of statements.
The original never changes. A tradition is not a different picture but a different press setting: ink density, registration, and forms mounted on top.

All five colors are clearly present. None disappears and none swallows the others.
Fullness does not mean identical intensity in every color. It means that no true color disappears and none is allowed to swallow the others.
This is not a list of denominations. These are recognisable states a living church falls into when one colour leaves the sheet or floods the rest. The same lack can produce different states: if Christ is not King, the throne does not stay empty — either the state takes it, or the world does.

The issue here is not a foreign doctrine placed over Christ but proportion: some true emphases become so dense that other parts of the image recede.
